After looking back at my last post titled "Change? Yes I Can", I have been doing a lot of thinking. Mostly about following my plans of how to change what I do in the future, and how to make these changes.
Lately, when thinking about my future and plans for change, I can not help but look at the past and say:
"What If I"...
What if I did this???, what if I did that???
These three little words always appear in my mind, bringing up thoughts and memories of both good and bad times. Making me think, what could I have done differently.
After getting derailed by these three words and hours of thinking about the past, I always bring myself back to now, and say "I am happy". The past is the past, and I can not change that now. I can only change the future.
“When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened.”
-John M. Richardson, Jr.
I want to be the second person, and in doing so, I need to take "What If I?", and make it "What Can I?".
See you in the future...
